Prairie Coneflower 1 ounce
Wildcrafted on my organically sustained land
Prairie Coneflower is also called Mexican Hat. A tea of the flowers or leaves was used by Native Americans as a wash to draw out the poison and relieve the pain of rattlesnake bites. It was also used to treat poison ivy. Flowers were made into a tea to treat headaches and stomachaches. A cold tea is used to reduce fevers. It has a sweet anise-like flavor.
